Immunology Institute: Expanding the Computational Biology Team to Directly Impact Human Health

November 27, 2019
The Allen Institute for Immunology recently launched a retained search, led by The Chase Group, dedicated to building the computational biology team at the Institute from the top down, to continue the goal to improve human immune health and lay the groundwork for better ways to diagnose, treat, and prevent immune-related diseases. The Institute is interested in well-trained bioinformaticians and computational biologists who would like to be a part of this critical team that will experience integrating human immunology, human sample analyses, physiological data, genetics, and preclinical models. The team will have an unprecedented view of human immunology, collaborating with academic centers of excellence, work with a large research budget, and drive discovery in this hypothesis generation. “By unraveling the mysteries of the dynamic immune system in healthy individuals and focusing the same cutting-edge tools on patients in various disease states, we believe we will find new ways to diagnose and ultimately treat disease.” – Thomas F. Bumol, Ph.D., Executive Director for the Allen Institute for Immunology If you would like more information about joining the Computational Biology team at The Allen Institute for Immunology, contact Ken Allison at 913.663.3100, or at ken@chasegroup.com.
